The Challenge
NeoBank needed a real-time payment processing engine to support instant transfers, but existing solutions could not meet latency and compliance requirements.
The Solution
Built an event-driven payments platform using Kafka Streams, gRPC, and distributed state management. Implemented PCI-DSS compliance from day one.
The Results
Processing 10K+ transactions per second with p99 latency under 50ms. Passed PCI-DSS Level 1 audit on first attempt.
